Happiness - Short story

 Once a group of 50 people was attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each one a balloon. Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.

 

Now these delegates were let in that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written, within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos.

 

At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon.
Now each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.

 

The speaker began— "exactly this is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is.Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness; you will get your own happiness. And this is the purpose of human life...the pursuit of happiness!!"

Why we called Today as Present? - (Story)

 

 

 Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.
One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.

His bed was next to the room's only window.

The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end.

They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on
vacation..

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color
and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man could not hear the band -he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with
descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body
of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.

She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window.The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left
him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this
window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

'Today is a gift, that is why it is called The Present .'

How to change folder background in Windows XP?

Lots of free tools available in online for amazing windows tweaks :)

But as a computer experts, these tools are waste pieces for us.We just want everything would be just control by us. Not the coding by other companies or etc.

Here a simple steps for change folder's default white background with our desire picture.

This works in Windows XP. I am not sure about after versions.

Ok. Here the steps!

Choose the folder as our target. Here ex: D:\Travel

Step1:
Open "cmd prompt", type the code attrib +s D:\Travel
(This is just to change system attribute value)

Step2:
Open a notepad and add the below code.This is the key part! save this inside our target folder as "Desktop.ini"

One Of a Serious Day in my life - Rajkumar PP

My life is full of strange events and people. Even today I met a strange person. When I crossed the road, he suddenly fell down in front of me from the bicycle. He went unconscious. Oh my god. He is bleeding. Big crowd surrounded him now. I just stunned and don't know what's happening there. But I can hear various speeches by the great unwashed.

One said, “As like the same, last week near my home one person got injured in the head. He died after 15 min. I think this guy also never is alive”. After this statement really I got angrier. In the mean time Ambulance reached the spot. Before any suggestions from people, I joined with the injured person's hospital travel.

Worries. The big face changing word as of today.

From LKG boy to old-age guests, everybody has something to worry. I phoned my manager and informed that I can't come office in time. After five minutes we reached Hospital. Some helpers came with a stretcher.

Now I am with the doctor. He told that the patient is fine now. He thanked me for my serious face. Really? I just asked myself. Why I am looks so serious now? I don't know who is that person and have hope on doctors. Then for what I am worrying. I gave my card to the nurse and left the hospital.

Life is same for Ant and human. Fear on death make us so serious and not allow us to do something bigger or never tried before.

Yesterday I met a friend in a Hotel. We discussed about our long journey after college days. I got a point from there. We are so serious about exams and results during studies. But those moments make us laugh now. Everything is like this. There is no use of worrying.

I got a call at 4:00 PM from hospital. They told the patient can hear and speak. I plan to visit him again after my office hours. Work makes my life as systamatic.From morning to evening I am so much think about work and issues. Even they are resolvable, worries never end.Just they roam around my thought. Before I complain others, I need to take me out from this don't like situation.

I reached Hospital by 6 PM.The person is on bed. I am happy to see him alive. He introduced himself and thanked me a lot. His Name Ravi. He was working in a small coffee shop. After his marriage he got some issues with his wife. So both were separated by her family. Ravi loved his wife and thier child Banu very much. He told whole story of him and cried in between. I just call his wife and informed about his accident. She assured that she will reach in 30min.

Ravi spent his life fully for searching money. He just forgot his wife and baby in those time. He never smoke or drink. But had a bad friend. A good guy with bad company, make him live in unpeaceful life. Ravi helped his friend John for her wife's hear operation. Unfortunately Mrs. John died. John became hopeless person and start to drink. Ravi can't even able to ask his 50000.This makes trouble in Ravi's family. After her wife left, he understood the situation. At what he was more serious about, not gave any happiness to him. Its money.

Now that family regrouped. All are happy. After so many months I got a call from Ravi. He told that he started a Tea shop in his native. His wife very happy about his change. I wished him for his future. Also I assured myself that live the life with peace. Not with Serious series of worries.

Generate File List - Windows

I am not sure whether any tools available for the below requirement.But it will help u sure!


Requirement:

Just tell me how you copy the file name?

I hope most of use doing "F2" and copy Or "right click" then rename->copy.

If the number of folder or file is in single digit, then Its fine. If we have some 100's of folders and files means?

So,Sometimes we thought that we should get the list of these files and folder names in a excel or text file by simple one click.

Yes.It's a possible.Just follow the steps as given!

Code: (save this as "test.bat")

dir /on /b >list1.xls            /*This code helps you to get name list of folders and files*/

dir /on /b /s >list2.xls    /*This code helps you to get the whole files and folder list with details*/

dir /ad >list3.txt        /*This code helps you to get only the folder list*/

Execution:

• Just place this "test.bat" file to the root folder where we needs to prepare list.
• You can run this by double click.
• The results will be stored in same root path. Here the result files are "list1.xls,list2.xls,list3.txt".

How to download Images from Websites?

Many of the computer user have trouble to download images from Facebook and other sites.

We have two ways for resolve this. (It works on Firefox and IE as well )

1."Right Click"
This will works for most of the sites.(This supports to download Audio,Video files also from some sites)

"Right Click" on Image and choose "Save Image As" and choose download location.

2.Drag method

This is like childish technique :) Yes. If we need a image, then just click and drag it to new tab.

The cursor Icon will change as given below.Then just release mouse click.That's all.
